An upgrade to their current line of pro bearings, FKD added Ryan Sheckler to their list of skateboarders who currently have their own signature set of wheel bearings. The sheckler series features the same technologies in the ABEC5 and ABEC7 stock bearings. Ryans series feature a black pinstripe or gold pinstripe set of high quality durable bearings.

With the release of the Election Series comes the redesign of the Eric Koston skate shoe. Debuting in 1997, the Koston model was the first skate shoe to feature both an air system and an exposed polyurethane midsole.
